Can’t say I’m too surprised by this, but Paramount Studios has confirmed that they will make another Transformers film, with Michael Bay returning to direct. Instead of picking up where Transformers: Dark of the Moon left off, the studio is looking to re-boot the film.

No word on the cast yet, but Paramount has confirmed that the film is scheduled to be released June 29, 2014.

Jackass 3.5 Coming to the Internet March 2011

We already knew Jackass 3.5 was coming, we just didn’t know when. Now we have an answer. Jackass 3.5 will be released weekly on the internet in segments, and finally packaged into a full length film, in March of 2011. Check out the statement by Paramount below.

JACKASS 3.5, which was tailor-made for launch in digital media, will feature all new content, including never-before-seen stunts, pranks and other side-splitting antics by the JACKASS crew. New stunts and antics from JACKASS 3.5 will be released online weekly and then packaged together as a feature length film distributed digitally followed by other platforms including home video.

“I don’t want to say that the JACKASS guys invented the Internet, but they were doing viral videos before most people had even heard the term. That distinguished heritage makes JACKASS the perfect franchise for digital,” said Thomas Lesinski, President of Paramount Digital Entertainment. “When the JACKASS guys went to make JACKASS 3D, we proposed that we shoot a follow up to the successful JACKASS 2.5 digital feature alongside it, and everyone was up for it. In JACKASS 3.5, you are going to see an entire movie’s worth of new stunts, new pranks and new gags, on whatever screen you choose.”

Jackass 4 On The Way?

After breaking the record for biggest October opening this past weekend it seems that we might see a Jackass 4 sooner than later.

Apparently enough footage was shot for two movies, but it’s being rumored that Paramount wants to convert Jackass 3.5 into Jackass 4. This means that the cast will not be filming new footage, but instead use all the skits that didn’t make it in Jackass 3D and call it Jackass 4.

What are your thoughts? Personally I believe that it should be kept as Jackass 3.5 and just release it on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Today we received some major news from Disney and Marvel.

First things first, Disney has bought the distribution rights from Paramount for the upcoming Marvel films Iron Man 3 and The Avengers for a whopping $115 million dollars. So what does this mean? Basically Disney will be in charge of the marketing and advertising for both films.

With that being said we also learned the release date for Iron Man 3. IR3 will hit theaters on May 3, 2013. So you can run and tell that! Homeboy!

Update On TMNT Re-Boot

Via: Collider.com

It looks like the first draft for the re-boot of the upcoming live action TMNT film wasn’t good enough. So what did Paramount do? They hired Marcum and Matt Holloway to re-write the script. Why is this a big deal? Well Marcum and Matt are the men responsible for the Iron Man films so by the looks of it Paramount is serious about making this re-boot awesome.

Thor x Captain America Comic-Con Posters

Via: Collider.com

Marvel and Paramount Studios have released movie posters for Thor and Captain America. Now these aren’t are your typical movie posters that you usually see. Instead it is more of concept art for both movies. This is a pleasant surprise. The concept art looks pretty dope. Those who attend Comic-Con this Saturday will most likely receive one or both of these posters.

Thor hits theaters May 2011 and Captain America hits theaters July 2011.
