February 25, 2011 at 9:34 pmWow. Bitter much? This game is far betetr than a “7.5 (STEREOTYPIC)”. True the dumbed-down controls suck for those of us who have play 6-button fighters for 20 years, but the X-Factor is a welcome mechanic to me. It makes the battles a hell of a lot more interesting- no more BS keep away tactics to wear the clock down. It give someone a chance to come back from certain defeat. Almost like the desperation moves from SNK..The story does suck (and not in a good way). If anything, an animated ending would have been betetr than comic panels with a couple of sentences of text.The net code is nothing special. It is on par with SFIV- which is acceptable. Not great, but acceptable.I would give this game a little more time and maybe you would see what truly lies beneath your cursory glance.
